Maiestas Alternatives grew out of the Sunspear project and developed into a boutique research firm specialising in liquid alternative investments.

 

From a universe of close to 500 investment funds, it selected around 20 managers and, on the basis of its proprietary research, built liquid alternative portfolios for ultra-high-net-worth clients.

The activity was discontinued in the first quarter of 2026 and all fund positions were redeemed. The company was subsequently liquidated and struck off the Luxembourg Trade and Companies Register RCS B272192 on 3 June 2026.
